WHAT'S NEW? I'M GLAD YOU ASKED.
With our deepest gratitude to Khiva Shrine for being such a wonderful home for our last three Goth Proms, we can finally share a secret that has been rattling around in its coffin for a while. We are moving!
We have a new home for both Bizarre Bazaar and Goth Prom Amarillo…
We are beyond thrilled to announce our partnership with Arts in the Sunset at 3701 Plains Blvd!
Both events will now be held indoors in the beautiful Legacy Ballroom, a space that offers easy unloading and loading for Bizarre Bazaar vendors, plentiful parking, and a grand, elegant hall where every activity unfolds on a single floor with full accessibility for all who wander in, no matter how they wander in.
We will always cherish the haunting beauty and history of the Khiva Shrine, yet our move to Arts in the Sunset gives us room to grow and to conjure even more wonderful, spooky memories that will linger like friendly ghosts for years to come.

Well, Bizarre Bazaar 2026, Open Call for Vendors,
Goth Prom 2027 Theme has been announced!
BIZARRE BAZAAR this year is at our new home, mentioned above! It is on October 3, 2026,
from 4pm-9pm. And we have an open call for sponsors (please check the Facebook page before
requesting an application - we may have run out of room and be booked. But if not...
Loading and unloading will be a breeze in our new location! We're booking vendors in the Legacy Ballroom (8x10 spaces) and the Center Court, which consists of the hallway from the North-western- most entrance (right by the AJ Swope Performance Plaza) all the way to the entrance to the Legacy Ballroom. (10x10) We're offering both for your vending booth this year, and you can double your square footage with 2 of either an 8x10 or a 10x20. Please see our Facebook post for pricing.
Vending applications deadline is June 19th at 11:59pm. PLEASE SEND PICTURES with your application - we need to be able to see what your inventory looks like so we can consider you as a vendor.
GOTH PROM AMARILLO 2027: LAST RITES
A dense carpet of rolling mist hangs just above the winter grass, wrapping itself around the trunks of trees and gently kissing the engraved markers of those who slipped from this mortal coil long ago. The air carries a quiet chill that slowly creeps up your spine and suddenly lifts the hair on the back of your neck. You know this place. You know this feeling. Perhaps you've been here before.
You are standing in a cemetery after attending a funeral.
Still dressed in your funeral attire, you follow the other mourners as they slowly amble toward the repast. The cemetery gates open for you with a soft welcome in the form of a creaking rusty hinge. You step through into something both familiar and otherworldly.
You have arrived at Goth Prom 2027: Last Rites.

Join us as we celebrate our 5th Annual Goth Prom in our new home, The Legacy Room at Arts in the Sunset, 3701 Plains Blvd. The Mourners will gather from 7 pm to Midnight.
Your finest Goth Funeral Attire is respectfully requested, whatever that means for you and the story you choose to tell.
Tickets will be available for purchase in person only at Bizarre Bazaar on October 3rd, 2026. Remaining tickets will go live for purchase the following day, Sunday, October 4th, 2026.
Come join us for dancing, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, portrait stations, and a surprise or two. Goth Prom Amarillo is a 21+ only event, and as always, we ask that you plan to imbibe responsibly.
What... exactly, is Goth Prom?
Goth Prom Amarillo is just like a High School Prom, but unlike High School, you have to be 21 or over to attend this prom, because we have a bar! It's dancing, drinking, and debauchery. It's people watching, and everyone dressed up in their Goth finest.
We are a catered event thanks to BlackFig; we offer delicious hors d'oeuvres to nosh between shaking it on the dance floor, and catching up with people you haven't seen since last prom.
There are several selfie backdrop stations with ring lights and a tripod, or you can ask someone for a photo assist. And I haven't even mentioned the music yet...
We offer you the best goth dance music from it's post-punk beginnings to current,
with DJ Tooley spinning all the songs you know, love and can dance to.
We crown our Goth Royalty every year, which is our take on the traditional high school Prom King & Queen. (see Jake & Morgan in the photo to the right, the 2026 Royalty) But because we're all inclusive, it's gender neutral.
There's a silent auction, a merch table, door prizes, and we can't forget about the bar. Our staff of professional bartenders will keep you in perfectly poured drinks for the whole evening.
Honestly, it s the best time you'll have in Amarillo all year.
