Goth Prom was borne on Halloween of 2022; two of us were handing out candy to trick-or-treaters on the sidewalk in front of Aunt EEk's Books & Curiosities in our witch costumes. We wondered aloud why there wasn't a "Goth Prom for us elder goths" in Amarillo. Then we decided that there absolutely needed  to be a Goth Prom in Amarillo, at least just to see if there was any interest. 
Turns out, there was interest. 
Our first Goth Prom was small; we held it at The 806 Coffee + Lounge on historic
Route 66. We were able to invite 50 people. It was invitation only, so we could keep the number of attendees small. However, there was considerable dismay from our friends that we weren't able to invite. We decided that the next time, we'd need to be able to offer significantly more tickets, so we moved Goth Prom to Khiva Shrine for the next three Goth Proms.

2027 will be our Fifth Annual, and our first Goth Prom at our new home,
Arts in the Sunset, in The Legacy Ballroom.

And we've sold out of tickets every single time. 

We're dedicated to making every Goth Prom better than the one the year before, and that's not easy! But it's a challenge we're all very excited to accept. 
We are a group of 6 women, all with our own different personalities and ideas, and each of us committed to throwing the best Goth Prom we possibly can for people who really want an amazing Goth Prom. If that's you, then know we're working hard all year long to put on a prom you're going to love. We do it all for you.
... And maybe a little bit for us, too.
